Meet The Team

Les is retired from a career in business management which included 17 years as a small business owner.  He has been an active volunteer since he and his wife Valerie moved to Arkadelphia in 2020.

Cathy is retired from Danfoss/Scroll Technologies in Arkadelphia with 25 years experience as a Human Resource Administrator.  She also volunteers as a grant writer and media manager.

Ali is an accountant at Berry Legal and Tax Consulting and kitty mom to 3 rambunctious cats, Mii-Mii, Mushi and Krookie.

Pam is retired from Henderson State University with 28 years experience as a Financial Aid Analyst.  Pam and her husband Phil are residents of Arkadelphia.  

Tammy is a long time volunteer and joins the Board bringing 40 years experience as a Purchasing Manager with Georgia Pacific.

Alannah is a proud Henderson State University alum, a dedicated real estate agent, and an Arkadelphia native. Her heart for service shines through her past leadership with the Junior Auxiliary of Arkadelphia and Main Street Arkadelphia, where she helped organize numerous community and fundraising events—including the first Duck Derby for the PDMCSC.

Sonja has been a staff member at HSCC since September 2024. Sonja has been caring for the dogs at the Shelter ever since. 

Kassie is our dedicated Cat Specialist who refers to her work as a calling, not just a job.

Simon has been a staff member at HSCC since August 2023. Simon is very passionate about the dogs in his care and his knowledge and commitment are outstanding.
